About This Site

EdBid is an independent, free registry of contract opportunities from school districts, colleges, universities, and purchasing cooperatives. Education purchasing is spread across thousands of separate websites. EdBid puts it in one searchable place, with an open API.

EdBid is not a government website, and it isn't a party to any purchase. Each institution runs its own procurement, evaluates its own responses, and awards and signs its own contracts. Vendors respond directly to the institution.

Commitments

• Searching and reading notices is free, with no account required.
• Vendors never pay to see or respond to an opportunity.
• Every change to a notice is saved as a new version. Earlier versions can't be edited or deleted.
• Notices from institutions EdBid hasn't confirmed are labeled as unverified.
• Public notice data is available to anyone through the API.
