Get Started with Registration and the EdBid Vendor ID

Before You Get Started

Review these steps. Most businesses finish in about five minutes.

   About Registration

   Registering lets schools find your business, and lets you join interested vendor lists and follow opportunities. It's free. If you win a contract through EdBid, you pay 1% of the final amount the school pays you, only after you're paid. You don't need to register just to search. Registration isn't a contract with any school. Each institution runs its own process.

   Create an Account

   Create an EdBid account with your business email address. Use an address you check, because opportunity updates go there.

   Prepare Your Data

   Have these ready: legal business name, physical address, the NAICS codes for what you sell, any business certifications (small, minority-owned, women-owned, veteran-owned, local), and a point of contact.

4. 4

   Get Started

   Fill in the registration form. You'll get your 12-character EdBid Vendor ID right away. Registrations last one year, and renewing keeps the same ID.
